In particular, Ecomesh support research carried out at the QUESTOR
centre, at Queen’s University, Belfast under the expert guidance
of
Professor Robert Kalin. With this knowledge base and site analysis
expertise on hand, we can ensure proper containment of potential
leachate pollutants and the most efficient and cost effective remediation
of the contaminated material. The result is a reduction in the time
taken to remediate the soil with the developers' liability compressed
to generate a substantial saving for the client.

Poland
During
the development of the composite Ecomesh modular units, we believed
that we needed to make maximum use of material that was currently
available on site to avoid landfill disposal. We have entered into
an agreement with a Polish company called PRGW
who have been developing low pressure clay injection systems for
the creation of below-ground hydro insulation barriers both vertical
and horizontal in orientation. These systems were designed using
modified clays which can also be used to stabilise some contaminates.Ecomesh
can now offer the full range of PRGW hydro and thermal insulation
systems. This transfer of technology works for both companies as
PRGW
now also offer Ecomesh systems in Poland and the Ukraine.
